Please take the time to read this important information  Note, check in time for your villa is 4:00pm All guests must register which is a FLORIDA STATE LAW Chapter 509.101 A $300 security deposit or the purchase of property insurance will be required before you can check in. Note you will not be authorized to check into the property without first completing this form.

1.  CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT
In Accordance with Florida State Law we take a credit card authorization to cover any incidentals and extra charges, such as, although not limited to, cleaning fee, pool heat, crib/highchair, rental damages, unauthorized pool heat, breakages or carpet staining that may occur while you are in the home. Security deposit details will be on file for up to 90 days after departure, although nothing is charged on your card unless damage occurs or charges such as cleaning fees are required. I confirm that I will not refuse legitimate charges against the credit card used for the security deposit or cleaning charges.

You can choose one of the following 2 options
Amount of Security Deposit: $300.00 U.S. Dollars per Home.
Legacy Vacation Homes/Columbus Vacation Villas will authorize the amount of $300 on your card – this amount will be held by your bank and released as per their terms and conditions ( the normal is for 14 days but some banks do take up to 30 days to release the funds – please consult your bank ).  If damages or missing items exceed $300.00 taken as my security, I shall be held responsible or if Columbus Vacation Villas – the property manager is unable to place claim against the credit card used for security deposit, I hereby consent and submit myself to the jurisdiction of the Florida Courts.  If there is the necessity to make a claim against my security deposit, I authorize Columbus Vacation Villas to deduct any amount of money from my credit card for any damages or breakages due to accidental damage or from our negligence.

Accidental Damage Insurance $45.00 USD per Home
Columbus Vacation Villas are authorized suppliers of Travel Guard Accidental Damage Insurance.  This insurance covers all accidental damage to the home up to a maximum of $1500.  It does not include damage caused by smoking or by pets as we do not allow either in the homes.  When you purchase this insurance you will be supplied with a complete policy

For stays 5 nights or less you are required to pay a cleaning fee which is clearly stated on the travel website you booked through:
Any discrepancies in regards to this fee must be taken up with the agent you booked through: example Expedia, Orbitz.com  etc you may be asked to vacate the property should you fail to pay this charge. The price for cleaning charges are listed below, this charge will be made to your credit card.

LATE CHECK OUT; I understand that Legacy Vacation Homes/Columbus Vacation Villas has rented this property on the terms that the property will be vacated by 10:00 AM on day of check out, and that I may be subject to a late check-out charge of $50 after 10am and an extra days rent after 12pm noon.  Arrangements can also be made for an early check in – before 4.00pm
POOL HEATERS:    PLEASE CLICK ON THE TAB WHICH SAYS POOL HEAT AND FILL OUT & SUBMIT FORM. ONLY FOR STAYS 5 NIGHTS OR MORE.

EMERGENCY CALLS I understand that if I call the emergency number after office hours and my situation is not an emergency, my credit card will be charged an $85 dollar fee. LOCK OUT: Please enter through the front door only. If you enter or exit through the garage and lock yourself out after 5.30 pm, there will be an $85 fee plus any additional BBQ: If a BBQ is in the property and you use it then you are responsible to clean the BBQ – if you leave the home and the BBQ is not cleaned then $45 will be charged to your credit card to pay for someone else to clean it. AGE RESTRICTION: Guests must be 18 years or older to make the reservation – and an adult of 18 years or older must be staying in the home for the duration of the rental.  PETS No pets are allowed in any of our homes at any time.
